OK, so this isn’t really a recipe. However, it’s food-related, so it counts.
If you can’t think of anything else to bring and don’t want to cook, then hey? Why not a couple bottles of nice vino?
Jen’s favorite wine is Sauvignon Blanc, from regions including:
- Marlborough, New Zealand (Kim Crawford and Jules Taylor are two tasty & affordable wineries),
- Côtes de Gascogne, France (Domaine Chiroulet ‘Les Terres Blanches’ and Domaine du Tariquet are both tasty)
- Sancerre, France (Domaine Daulny is great)
- Rogue Valley, Oregon (Leah Jørgensen cellars has a super delicious one)
I’d love to try other Sauvignon Blancs from those regions and from local wineries as well, so pick one that you like!
